Apples
One of my favorite memories is a time early in our marriage when we had three small children and very little grocery money each week.
One particular week I stood at the checkout line and realized that I would have to leave a bag of apples because I had gone over budget. I felt guilty because the apples were the only fresh fruit my children would have for the week. I went home a little sad, but I didn’t think much about it that evening.
The next morning a
Christian neighbor
whom I had not seen for over a year knocked on my door.
As I opened the door she handed me a lovely basket lined with apple print fabric and filled with 3 different kinds of apples, home-canned apple butter and caramel apple-dipping sauce.
Inside was a note that told me how much God loved me. My neighbor had no way of knowing about the apples I had left at the register, yet God had told her to bring me the basket.
He was so faithful to meet my need in such a beautiful way.
provi'de:
from the Latin provideo,
literally,
to see before.
God is our Provider.
He sees our needs
before we even know we have
them and
He is faithful to supply every one.

PROVISION STORIES
Introduction
From the beginning of our marriage, my husband and I have desired to honor God in the way we live. Although we have a less than average income, we have seen God’s faithfulness over and over again to provide for our every need.
I hope that you will come back often to see all the ways that our Heavenly Father continues to bless our family.
